Nobody in a hospital eats at the same time, so the food is set down and left to do the waiting. Whoever surfaces first helps themselves; whoever is still tied up finds it there an hour later.
Most of the menu comes either as a platter to share, which suits a handover or a meeting, or as single serves packed individually, for a staff room that empties and fills all day.
Feeding a team that works in shifts
Medical rosters do not stop for lunch, so we cater whatever hour the break lands in — breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, lunch, or a run of healthy snacks to leave in the staff room. We put together meal packs for staff on shift, and we cater meetings, conferences and events at whatever size the day calls for, from a small handover one week to a full education session the next. The menu runs to more than 100 items, and most of it can be ordered either as a platter to share or as single serves, packed individually.
Dietary requirements
Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and dairy free are all catered for. Look for the icons on the menu images, and tell us at checkout if anyone on the team has an allergy or an intolerance so we can work around it.

How ordering works
- Build your order online and choose delivery or pick-up.
- Enter the address, date and time you want it at checkout.
- Order by 4pm for next-day catering. Cakes are the exception and need 2 to 3 business days.
Delivery and pick-up
We deliver to more than 50 suburbs across Brisbane. Delivery is from $19 on orders from $150, and Saturdays are the same rate. If you would rather collect, the kitchen is at 159 Knapp St, Fortitude Valley 4006, open Monday to Saturday 7.00am to 2.00pm, with pick-up from 7am.

1. What works for a handover, a training day or a ward morning tea?
Food that can sit for a shift change. Traditional Mini Quiches Collection - 24 Quiches/box, Finger Sandwich Platter - 50 pairs/platter and Fresh Baked Butter Milk Scones Box - 24 Scones/Box (VEG) all hold well and need no cutlery.
2. Can you do individual portions rather than shared platters?
Yes. Individual Garden Salad Pot (GF)(DF)(VGN)(VEG), Individual Chicken Caesar Salad Pot and Fruit Salad Cups (GF)(DF)(VGN)(VEG) come portioned one per person, which suits staff coming and going at different times.
3. How do you handle allergies and dietary requirements?
Dietary icons sit right in the product names — VGN vegan, VEG vegetarian, GF gluten free, DF dairy free. Our kitchen also handles nuts, sesame, egg, dairy and seafood, so we cannot guarantee any item is free from traces. 4. Where do you deliver on a hospital site?
To the address you give us — put the building, level and ward or department into the delivery address at checkout, and pick the time you need it there. Delivery is from $19 across 50+ Brisbane suburbs on orders of $150 or more. If a shift starts earlier than that suits, you can collect from 7am at 159 Knapp St, Fortitude Valley.
